ProTaper invented and patented the original "fat" bar, so you can count on them doing it right and delivering the best they have to offer.
The EVO is a precisely profiled bar with 4mm thick 7000 series aluminum alloy walls for an overall design that is 25% lighter and 45% stronger than competing handlebars. With specs like that you get a set of bars with a nearly perfect balance between fatigue life, impact strength and impact absorbing flex.
